Eucalyptus Leucoxylon ssp Connata: Yellow Gum
Native to Victoria, this particular species of Yellow Gum produces yellow blossoms in winter. As few other plants bloom at that time, its nectar and flowers are an important winter food source for many bird species, while its trunk provides nesting hollows for birds, bats and mammals.
