Alenka Dirnbek is the creator and founder of Alexami Cosmetics.

Originally from Slovenia in Europe, Alenka now lives on the Australian Gold Coast, where the natural environment influences and inspires both her work and home life.

With more than 15 years experience working in the beauty industry, and years invested in researching the presence of toxic ingredients in mainstream beauty products, Alenka recognised the need for a more natural, safe cosmetic offering that didn’t compromise on performance or durability. This, combined with her passion for colours and a desire to create simple beauty products that empower women, lead to the creation of Alexami.

Remaining true to her code of ethics and devotion to nature, Alenka has been developing high quality, natural cosmetic products that are as safe on the skin as they are to the environment since the launch of Alexami’s Mineral Cosmetics in 2009.

As a devoted mother, wife, and businesswoman herself, Alenka understands the importance of simplicity to the modern women, and following popular requests from her customers, Alenka made the decision to expand the Alexami Mineral Cosmetic range to incorporate certified organic skincare.

As ongoing investors in scientific research and product development, Alexami launched the Botanique range in 2013, offering women a simple steps beauty regime and 6 certified organic skincare products made from the safest, most innovative active botanical ingredients available on the market.

Today, Alexami has a presence across the whole of Australia and is proudly exporting internationally to Asia and Europe and expanding further nationally and internationally.
