The founder of Alexami Mineral Makeup and Cosmetics, Alenka, believes every woman has the right
to feel beautiful. And as a former hairdresser, makeup artist and personal image coach specialising
in personal colours, you could say she’s always been in the business of making women look great.

Throughout her career, Alenka has travelled extensively gaining professional qualifications and
expert training from some of the most prestigious hair care and makeup brands in the world, including L’Oreal,
Wella, Toni & Guy, Joico, Matrix, Art Deco and more. She’s had many articles about hair, makeup and beauty
published in various media, and ran her own successful hair and makeup business in Europe before relocating to Australia.

After more than fifteen years in the beauty industry, Alenka recognised all beauty products are not created equal. A strong believer that looking good shouldn’t be harmful to your health nor the environment, she saw an urgent need for pure and natural make up that avoided harsh chemicals yet didn’t ignore fashion trends – or compromise on quality and durability.
